Welcome
to Grand Junction
|
| Ancient history comes
to life in Grand Junction, site of many significant dinosaur
finds. Fossils can be seen at the Rabbit Valley quarry or
Dinosaur Valley Museum where animated dinosaurs stomp and
roar. |
 |
| Hike or drive through the
Colorado National Monument, 2.3 square miles of sheer canyon
walls and standing monoliths. Grand Junction is the starting
point for Kokopelli's and Tabeguache Mountain Bike Trails,
and for raft trips on the Colorado River. The area is also
known for its award winning, locally produced wines, outdoor
sculpture exhibit, and art galleries. |
